Objective To evaluate the effect and mechanism of largehead atractylodes rhizome on the serum albumin level and jejunal mucosa morphology in rats with cerebral hemorrhage. Methods The cerebral hemorrhage rat model was established by using a simple grouping experimental design method to detect the serum albumin level and the morphological parameter of the jejunal mucosa in the treatment and control groups on Day 1, 7 and 14 after cerebral hemorrhage. Results Compared with the control group, the serum albumin was increased in the treatment group on Day 1 and 7 after the operation (P<0.05), the small intestinal villus height and mucosal thickness were significantly decreased on Day 1, and the small intestinal villus height, villus area and mucosal thickness were all significantly increased (P<0.01). Conclusion Largehead atractylodes rhizome can increase the serum albumin level of rats, and can aggravate the injury of the small intestinal mucosa in the early stage, but relieve in the late stage. 相似文献

Waxes have been used in many cosmetic preparations and pharmaceuticals as formulation aids. Rice bran wax is a byproduct of rice bran oil industry. Present investigation has been aimed to explore the possible utility of rice bran wax as ointment base compared to standard base. The rice bran wax obtained, purified and its physicochemical characteristics were determined. Ointment base acts as a carrier for medicaments. The ointment base composition determines not only the extent of penetration but also controls the transfer of medicaments from the base to the body tissues. Rice bran wax base was compared with standard base for appearance, spreadability, water number, wash ability and diffusibility. The results show that rice bran wax acts as an ointment base as far as its pharmaceutical properties are concerned and it could effectively replace comparatively costlier available ointment bases. 相似文献

目的:研究麸炒苍术辅料麦麸对小鼠消化功能的影响.方法:小鼠随机分组,分别为生麦麸水煎液高低剂量组、麸炒苍术麦麸高低剂量组、炒麦麸高低剂量组,阴性对照组,阳性对照组.测定给药7d后各组小鼠小肠推进率、血清胃泌素水平、总胃酸含量以及脾脏指数.结果:生麦麸水煎液高剂量组各指标较阴性对照组均有显著差异(P<0.05),麸炒苍术麦麸水煎液高剂量组较阴性对照组小肠推进率有显著差异(P<0.05),炒麦麸水煎液高剂量组较生麦麸水煎液高剂量组各指标均有显著差异(P<0.05).结论:高剂量生麦麸水煎液能显著促进小鼠消化功能,而低剂量无此作用.麦麸经炒制后促进消化功能作用消失.麸炒苍术麦麸水煎液在高剂量时能促进小鼠小肠运动,但对其他指标无明显作用. 相似文献

Interest in cereal bran as a source of dietary fibre (DF) and functional components has increased in recent years.
